What is Orgnyse and who is it for?
What is Orgnyse and who is it for?
Orgnyse is an Australian-built platform designed for community organisations — clubs, associations, cultural groups, charities, non-profits, community schools, dance studios, sports clubs, and any volunteer-led group that manages members, runs events, or collects payments. We bring everything into one connected system so your committee spends less time on admin and more time on the things that matter.
Do we need technical knowledge to use Orgnyse?
Do we need technical knowledge to use Orgnyse?
Not at all. Orgnyse is designed for volunteers and committee members, not tech professionals. If you can send an email, you can use Orgnyse. The platform is intuitive, clearly labelled, and built around the way community organisations actually work. To make getting started even easier, we currently offer personalised demos and hands-on onboarding for every new organisation — our team will set things up with you, step by step.
Is Orgnyse an Australian platform?
Is Orgnyse an Australian platform?
Yes. Orgnyse is proudly built and operated in Australia, with local support, local infrastructure, and a team that understands the needs of Australian community organisations. When you contact us, you're speaking with someone who genuinely knows your context.
Is Orgnyse really free to use?
Is Orgnyse really free to use?
Yes — genuinely. With a free Orgnyse account you can run events, sell tickets, accept fundraising donations, and create surveys and forms to collect member details or RSVPs — all with zero platform charges. You're also listed in the Orgnyse Community Directory, helping new members discover your organisation. The only cost is the standard card processing fee (which can be passed on to attendees). No hidden charges, no setup fees, no lock-in contracts.
How does Orgnyse compare to using spreadsheets and separate apps?
How does Orgnyse compare to using spreadsheets and separate apps?
Most community organisations manage members in a spreadsheet, send emails through Gmail or Mailchimp, collect payments via bank transfer, and track events in a separate tool. This creates scattered data, manual effort, and frequent errors — especially during committee handovers. Orgnyse replaces all of that with one connected system where your member database, communications, payments, and events all work together automatically.
How does event management work in Orgnyse?
How does event management work in Orgnyse?
You can create an event page, set up registration options, sell tickets, send automated invitation and reminder emails, track attendees, and manage entry on the day using QR code scanning — all from one dashboard. After the event, your attendance data and financial summary are ready to export.
Can we run free and paid events?
Can we run free and paid events?
Yes. You can create free registration events (for gatherings, AGMs, community meetings) and paid ticketed events (for fundraisers, cultural shows, workshops). Both are supported on all plans including the free tier.
Can we manage different ticket types and pricing?
Can we manage different ticket types and pricing?
Yes. You can set up multiple ticket types — for example, Adult, Child, Member, Early Bird, or VIP — each with its own price, availability, and sales window. Discount codes and promotional pricing are also supported.
Can we scan tickets at the venue?
Can we scan tickets at the venue?

Do attendees get their tickets in Apple or Google Wallet?
Do attendees get their tickets in Apple or Google Wallet?
Yes. Tickets can be saved directly to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, with a 2-hour reminder notification before the event. Attendees always have their ticket accessible on their phone, even without an internet connection on the day.
Can we run multiple events at the same time?
Can we run multiple events at the same time?
Yes. Depending on your plan, you can have multiple active events running simultaneously. The Essential plan supports 3 events at a time, Premium supports 5, and Elite supports unlimited concurrent events. All events are managed from one central dashboard.
Can we offer early payout of ticket revenue before the event date?
Can we offer early payout of ticket revenue before the event date?
Yes. Rather than waiting until after your event to receive funds, Orgnyse supports early payouts to your bank account so you can manage cashflow and cover event costs in advance. Payments flow directly to your dedicated Stripe sub-account — Orgnyse never holds your money.
How are payments handled?
How are payments handled?
All payments are processed securely through Stripe, one of the world's most trusted payment platforms. You receive a dedicated Stripe sub-account in your organisation's name — funds go directly to you. Orgnyse never holds your money. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and all major credit and debit cards are supported.
Are there any platform charges on payments?
Are there any platform charges on payments?

Can we set up recurring memberships or donations?
Can we set up recurring memberships or donations?

Financial reports are generated automatically so your committee always knows where things stand.
Can we manage all our members in one place?

No, and we're upfront about that. Orgnyse provides a clear financial dashboard covering all income collected through the platform — event revenue, membership fees, donations, and class payments.
